Henüz ne isim vereceğime karar veremediğim son resmimin ilk monokromik aşaması bitti sayılır. Birkaç ilaveden sonra sanırım renklendirmesine başlayabilirim. Ama onun öncesinde, resmin kurgusunda bana ilham veren Antonello da Messina'nın Aziz Jerome Çalışma Odasında adlı tablosuna dair bir yazı paylaşmayı düşünüyorum. Son düzeltmelerden ve İngilizce'ye çevirisini hallettikten sonra, birkaç güne paylaşmış olurum. Biraz fazla akademik, ciddi ve uzun bir yazı oldu, ama Antonello'nun bu eserindeki İncil göndermelerini ve ikononografik sembolleri düşünürsek, sanırım ortaya daha kısa ve eğlenceli bir yazı çıkamazdı. Son iki haftamı sadece bu resimle ilgili araştırmalar yapmaya ve en sonunda hakkında bir makale çıkarmaya adamış olsam da çok eğlendim ve çok şey öğrendim.

The monochromic underpainting process of my latest painting which I haven't decided on its entitle yet is sort of finished. After a couple of additions, I think I can start the colouring process. But prior to that, I would like to share an article I write about the magnificent painting St. Jerome in His Study by Antonello da Messina, which inspired me in composing and building the context of my work. I will be posting it within a couple of days after few editions and finishing its translation to English. It's been an academic, serious and long article. However it's not surprising, considering all the Biblical symbols and complex iconography of Antonello's painting. To be honest, I've devoted the last two weeks of my life to make researches about the painting and write an article on it. It was fun, though. I've learned so many things.
